Dry Pak provides a full line of Temperature Indicating Labels, which are used to monitor temperature abuse of products that must be stored or transported at critical temperatures. Our irreversible labels are available in both descending and ascending modes.

ColdMark Freeze Indicating Labels

ColdMark is an irreversible temperature indicating label that provides an indication of temperature movement below a certain temperature threshold. Available in five models (-3°C, 0°C, 2°C, 5°C & 10°C), they utilize a chemically activated, irreversible dye color change that occurs when the monitored environment reaches a low threshold temperature (+/ -1°C). ColdMarks require special thermal packaging with overnight shipping to prevent a false positive reading prior to use.

Storage: The shelf life of the Cold Mark is two years from date of manufacture. Store the ColdMark indicator in a temperature environment no colder than 5°C above the response temperature. Preconditioning is not required.

Application: Remove the liner from the pressure-sensitive backing, and secure the ColdMark on a clean, dry surface inside the shipping container or on the product.

Interpretation of Results: The appearance of violet color in the ColdMark bulb indicates that the specified low temperature has been reached. If the bulb remains clear and colorless, the environment in the monitored area has remained above the threshold temperature.

WarmMark Time Temperature Labels

Adhesive backed labels which record temperature abuse for shipping and storage.

Monitors temperatures from 8 to 48 hours, depending on model.
Red coloring indicates exposure to warmer-than-acceptable conditions
Available in a variety of response temperatures ranging from -18°C (0°F) to 37°C (99°F)

Response temperatures and run-out times (length of exposure time to a certain temperature) vary with each WarmMark model.

The red coloring indicates exposure to temperatures above the rated temperature for that tag. Color movement through the windows indicates passage of time. If the temperature cools below the threshold, the color stops moving.
